1. Company & industry overview: Apart from discussing the firm's product portfolio or services, including key stats like quick market cap, multiples, revenue/EBITDA, competitors and geographical exposure etc. 2. Investment Thesis: The argument to support why your target firm is an enduring investment, especially against competitors. The 3 key drivers are company valuation, quality, and upcoming catalysts.  3. Catalysts: What events will likely lead markets to recognize this pricing imperfection, driving the stock closer to your target price, hence driving significant gains for you.  4. Valuation: Perform an absolute valuation (like DCF or DDM) or a relative valuation. To justify a long recommendation, prove that the stock is currently undervalued, and for a short recommendation, explain how the stock is overpriced. 5. Risk Factors: Discuss 2-3 company/ market-specific factors that could likely affect your market thesis, along with measures to risk attenuating measures to cut losses 6.
