Working Hours of IB Sales & Trading and Middle Back Office!

➡️Sales & Trading: The Morning Starts Early!
The working hours in the trading room are usually relatively short compared to IBD, but there’s a need to start working early!
You need to be in the office as early as 6-730 to learn about the latest market updates or hv a morning meeting before the market opens
Although the working hours are around 10-12 hours, you may leave work at around 6-7 pm (and go to bed before 11pm so you can wake up early tmr & kick off the day!)

➡️Middle and back office: Get your work-life balance
The working hours of the middle & back office will be more stable than the front office, staff usually work from 9 to 6 to 7
For example, the working hours of Compliance, Finance, Operation and HR are relatively shorter
Since the middle & back office bear no sales responsibility, it is less likely for the staff to work on Saturdays and Sundays
