After IB, Banking Recruitment Season is On - Singapore / Hong Kong / UK Students You'll Need This
HSBC recently rolled out grad jobs management trainee internship which means, the other banks will follow suit soon enough. Are you ready to take on the banking season?

Remember the bank application tactics are slightly different from those for other banking roles. Keep reading to find out more.
HSBC released as many as 35 positions across Singapore, London, and Hong Kong but you'll need to plan your applications carefully since the bank does not allow unlimited applications to any role. So we suggest you must understand the headcount and weigh your options (and probability to get hired) carefully before you hit the "Apply" button.
As one of the Top Tier bank's, HSBC offers opportunities across different banking divisions. Plz be reminded that:
✅You can make application for ONE Division only - HSBC is very strict on this, we saw cases in previous years where they withdrew all applications from the candidates, if they applied for more than one team.
✅ Avoid applying for internships and Grad Roles at the same time- Generally speaking, penultimate year students are considered for internship (that is, students who will graduate in 2025). While the graduate jobs intake is for Final year students, graduating in 2023 (or those who graduated 1-2 years ago). But some students may defer or complete their credits earlier and have a more flexible graduation date. Which means you can choose to apply to both internships and grad roles, but it's really not worth it!
✅HSBC's hiring both for investment banking and general banking, so you got plenty of opportunities to choose from!
✅ It should be on your target list since HSBC has return offer schemes for their interns
✅ HSBC’s recruits on a rolling basis, so applying ASAP will give you an advantage over the late applicants
